Africa Online Uganda

AMREF Uganda's (a Non Governmental Organization) challenge was slow internet connection and poor customer support. Amref Uganda was therefore looking for a service partner who could support and understand their infrastructure and business needs as a Non Governmental Organization, efficient e-mail delivery as they run applications and a VPN to their head office in Kenya, plus failover backup link plus fast and consistent internet speeds.

In response, Africa Online Uganda installed a seacom fiber link that was able to support these applications and a VPN connection to Nairobi ensuring fast and efficient e-mail flow.

AMREF Uganda is now able to communicate in a timely and effectively manner with the head office in Kenya as well as its international headquarters with fast internet connection and exceptional customer support.

According to Joseph Kisembo, Head of IT at AMREF Uganda, "The link is fast and consistent, the staff members are wondering what changes have been made since they can be able to send and pop mail from the servers in Kenya within 19minutes".
